Days 4-6

Double-A has been doing great. He climbed Blood Mountain, and settled in to Neel Gap, where he picked up his first resupply package, and slept at the hostel there.

Resupply package

Double-A climbed out of Neel Gap on Friday Morning and stopped for camp after hiking for about 13 miles. Saturday was a hard day with 2 tough climbs and descents. About 1/2 way through his day at Unicoi Gap he got some unexpected trail magic.

A group from a local church setup a grill and did a hiker feed.

Trail Magic

Double-A ended his day climbing Tray Mountain and setup camp near Tray Mountain Shelter, on a ledge with an amazing view.
